Inver Hills Community College invites you to a Learning Community
Institute offering multiple breakout sessions on specific topics such as Designing LCOMs and Institutional Fit, LCOMs and Developmental Education, Designing and Assessing Integrative Assignments, Forming a Regional Consortium, and Integrating College Readiness in LCOMs. The Institute is designed for colleges committed to developing a learning community program as well as those with established programs.
FREE for MnSCU employees. $150 for others. Register by May 15.

This webinar, on January 31, 2012, provided an overview of how instructors from a variety of academic disciplines at Normandale Community College are using social media to connect and educate. They also discussed social media integration in D2L.

College Faculty Credentialing
The Academic Affairs College Faculty Credentialing unit develops policies and procedures to assure qualified individuals perform faculty work in our two-year colleges through system-established faculty minimum qualifications under Board Policy 3.32: College Faculty Credentialing, and Procedure 3.32.1: College Faculty Credentialing. This applies to faculty positions governed by the Minnesota State College Faculty (MSCF) bargaining agreement. Register for the spring 2012 course, open December 16, 2011 - May 11, 2012.
