Operational Strategies
Providing outreach to the system’s customers from business and industry is a complex function due to the large number of institutions developing and delivering services and to system leadership’s long-term desire to eliminate barriers and build system consistency.
Two management presently includes three distinct components:
The Data Management Business Group identifies and manages problems and best practices, system-wide.
The Integrated Statewide Record System (ISRS) which is the system's data management function.

• The Data Management Business Group [Websource] which identifies and manages problems and best practices systemwide.
• The Integrated Statewide Record System (ISRS) [Web source] which is the system’s data management function.
• The Online Registration and Payment project [Websource] which is building the system’s ability to management enrollment, promote business connections with our colleges and universities and ensure that individual incumbent workers and employers have easy access and payment options for instruction and related services.
A second operating strategy focuses on Financial Management which presently includes two distinct components:
• Fund 120 [Websource] which provides financial support and an accountability strategy for B&I) administrators
• Minnesota Job Skills Partnership (MJSP) funds [Websource] which provide additional support to colleges and universities which obtain grants from MJSP to build employer and employee-focused results that also serve to build school and system-level capacity.
